It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the possibility.

"For those following me in training, it was a challenging time because I feel like I've had no rhythm at all," stated Healy.

"The possibility to play and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

By the time she was out Australia needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, should it happen, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament want to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they were eliminated from the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at an important competition.

So great is her will, she later said she wanted to have participated through the pain.

But while she subsequently acknowledged those injuries have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this World Cup is likely to be her final tournament as skipper in 50-over cricket and she is yet to win an international tournament as skipper.
